The Diablo 4 Season 4 went live on May 14, and with it came tons of fixes and rebalancing that seemed to give the game a new and solid foundation that aimed to reinvigorate the franchise after a rough start. For both veteran players who have tapped out of the game and newbies who are finally venturing into the dark and grim world of Sanctuary, leveling up will be the main priority in Diablo 4 season 4. Of course, there is an option to buy D4 gold for those wanting to skip farming money in the game to get their hands on that powerful gear.
That said, if you want to fully experience what the game has to offer, we have some guidelines on how to maximize your run by getting your character to the endgame level as soon as possible. Below are tips on how to become an efficient, high-level demon hunter in a short span of time.
Skip the campaign mode
For returning players who have already completed the game once, the option to skip the campaign is given when picking new Diablo 4 classes to start a new game plus. Truth be told, there is no reason to replay the campaign unless you are looking to take a different path and experience the story events differently. However, if you are simply looking to level up and acquire those new nifty weapons and items, skipping is the way to go. Renown points are also given to your new character as long as you have unlocked the entirety of the map prior. This means you can skip over Renown farming as well. So, for veteran players, there is no reason to do the campaign again. Just skip it, and you will be taken to the open world to start farming EXP from the get-go.
Decide which World Tier to play on
World Tier will be a crucial decision that you will make from the onset of the Diablo IV Season 4. Different World Tiers will offer varying degrees of difficulty, RNG for loot drops, and several endgame features. Initially, World Tier 1 will be the best option for leveling up your new character; however, the 1.4.0 patch has provided a significant bonus EXP for playing Tier 2 (50% bonus EXP) and up. For example, both World Tier 3 and 4 will give players a bonus EXP of 150% and 250%, respectively. Keep in mind that these amazing bonuses will result in higher-level enemies, meaning it is going to be a much tougher run than playing on World Tier 1. However, there is one caveat for those who want to stick with the relative safety of World Tier 1. If you are stuck and can’t seem to find a particular item, you can check out Diablo 4 items for sale online as an alternative.
Helltide can now be accessed in World Tier 1
While World Tier 1 offers the least risk and low reward, one feature added to it can give its players a chance to gather a large amount of EXP via Helltides, which was added to World Tier 1 in patch 1.4.0. You will notice certain parts of your map marked red; this is the Helltide, and what it does is significantly increase the difficulty of said area, which also means higher EXP. Helltides will remain active for 55 minutes before getting a 5-minute cooldown and switching to a different area. If you are too underleveled to survive Helltide, complete Whispered Cache quests first.
Initiate the Call of the Wolves quest
Once you are dropped into Sanctuary, it is recommended that you start the Call of the Wolves quest as soon as possible. You can check the Diablo 4 Season 4 option on the menu screen to help direct you towards the location where you can trigger this quest. Why this quest in particular? Hanging out with the Iron Wolves will allow you to gain ‘Wolf’s Honor’, which will give players consumables, crafting materials, and gear. Keep in mind that this quest is not available for Eternal Realm players tamil bio.
Farm the Domhainne Tunnels
Found north of Cerrigar Waypoint, the Domhainne Tunnels is a dungeon where players can farm a great deal of EXP on a single run. That said, this method of leveling up can certainly feel monotonous, and looting isn’t something to write home about. However, if your goal is to level up your specialized Diablo IV Season 4 build fast as possible, this dungeon is the perfect place to grind.
